If you had past due payments at the time we applied the Disaster forbearance, we brought you up-to-date, giving you a fresh start. But, any reported past due payments (delinquencies) not related to the disaster were not removed from your credit report. Note that outstanding interest that accrued prior to the Disaster forbearance period may be capitalized when the forbearance ends.
Other Options May Be Available
There may be another option that works better for you, such as an Economic Hardship deferment if you're employed but are having difficulties making ends meet. Log into your online account to explore other ways you can postpone your payments or contact us today.
